Bio
Edoardo Sferrella is an Italian actor working between Italy and Japan. He is known for his linguistic versatility (Italian, English, Japanese) and his ability to move seamlessly across international film, television, and commercial productions. He has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the City of Pescara and international recognition including a nomination as Outstanding Actor at the Filmmaker Film Festival in Milan and the Peace Award at the Monaco International Film Festival for his performance in Honey Roasted Chicken. He is part of the cast of the Netflix film 10 Dance, directed by Keishi Otomo and based on the manga by Satō Inoue. On the big screen, he portrayed Salaì, Leonardo da Vinci’s apprentice, in Leonardo – The Mystery of the Lost Portrait (Amazon Prime / Sky / NHK). On television, he has appeared in major productions such as Pretty Proofreader (Nihon TV) and Leonardo (Rai / Lux Vide), as well as in news and feature programs on TV Asahi. He has also been featured in global advertising campaigns for brands such as Moleskine and Aperol. His training includes film and theatre acting studies in Italy, international workshops with renowned coaches such as Susan Batson, Michael Margotta, Paul Haggis, and Randall Paul, along with continuous physical training in martial arts and movement techniques. This background enables him to approach complex roles with both physical intensity and emotional depth. On set, he is valued for his precision, reliability, and ability to adapt to multicultural contexts, making him a strong fit for international productions.
